Join the Environmental Stewardship Work Area for the Adopt-a-Stream inaugural clean-up at the Downers Grove Park District’s Patriots Park around Barth Pond. Patriots Park is located just a mile from the church at 501 55th Place, Downers Grove.

Supplies for this activity, including gloves, trash grabbers, and trash bags, will be provided through The Conservation Foundation’s Adopt-a-Stream program. Participants will pick up trash at this popular public park and adjacent stream and wetland areas.

Join us to help keep this natural site beautiful! Children and youth aged 7 to 18 are also welcome to participate with a parent or other adult chaperone. Please RSVP to Vera Miller by Wednesday, June 10. Contact information to RSVP is available in Happenings eNews.
