Business Sponsorship

South DuPage CROP Hunger Walkers

Call it hunger or food insecurity  – our South DuPage CROP Hunger Walk is gearing up to fight hunger in 2021. Because of the added impact of the pandemic, we are asking for your business sponsorship at this most critical time.

This year's walk iss on October 17 but please consider helping us now. Your support will go a long way in combatting hunger, especially during this pandemic.  CROP Hunger Walks are local fundraising efforts of Church World Service (CWS) that raise money each year to provide food, seeds, livestock and agricultural training to people living in poverty anywhere.

One quarter of the donations will go to local organizations, and three quarters to the hunger-fighting work of CWS around the world. Local organizations receiving funds from the walk are FISH Food Pantry, Hope’s Front Door, Lisle Township Food Pantry, People’s Resource Center (Westmont), Meals on Wheels and West Suburban Community Pantry.

Your generosity in the past is truly appreciated and we seek it again. You can see more details on our Results page. We would be grateful for your gift of $150 or more, if at all possible. CWS/CROP is a 501c3 non-profit organization.

If your business donation of $150 or more is received by August 1, your business/organization will be included in all our pre-Walk publicity as well as recognized on CROP Walk Day. We welcome you to join us as we show our solidarity against hunger, one step at a time.

There are two ways that you can sponsor the walk.

  1. Write a check made payable to Friends of South DuPage CROP Hunger Walk and mail it to the South DuPage CROP Hunger Walk treasurer:

    Raymond Osborn
    5928 Northgate Court
    Woodridge, IL 60517

All donations are forwarded to Church World Service, which has 501(c)(3) status.

  2. Click the button below and donate online. Please add a message giving the name of the business that you represent.

Thank you for your help in ending world hunger!
