Chancel Choir

The Chancel Choir rehearses every Thursday evening from 7:30 to 9:10pm, and performs every Sunday at the 11:00am worship service. There are approximately 75 members in the choir. The Chancel Choir performs a Christmas Cantata every year with orchestral accompaniment.

The Chapel Choir rehearses Wednesday evenings from 7:00 to 8:50pm and sings every Sunday at the 9:30am worship service. There are approximately 75 members in the choir. The Chapel Choir performs a Christmas concert each year and goes on tour every Spring break.

The Connection

First Rehearsal: September 19, 2007

The Connection Choir youth must sign in and out every Wednesday.

• Sign in will be outside Fellowship Hall.
• Sign out will be outside Fellowship Hall.
• Choir members must wait outside Fellowship Hall until they are called in to rehearse so as not to disrupt the Chorister Choir rehearsing in Fellowship Hall at that time.

Angels

3 year olds to pre-Kindergarteners

Rehearsals: Wednesdays ~ 4:30-5:00pm ~ Room 15
Registration: September 12, 2007

• Child must have turned 3 years of age on or before September 1, 2006
• A parent helper will sign children in.
• At 4:30 p.m. children only will be invited in to Room 15. Please wait with your child in the hall until that time.
• We would ask that the person accompanying the child please stay in the building.
• If your child becomes very upset, a parent helper may ask you to take your child out of the room. One half hour is such a short amount of time, it’s very important to have as little disruption as possible.
• A parent helper will sign children out.

Handbell Choirs

Pattie Barnes, Director

Chancel Ringers

Performs at the 9:30 and 11:00am services periodically throughout the school year. There are approximately twelve members of varying ages. The Chancel Bells have performed for several years as intermission music for the Chicago Symphony Orchestra's Christmas Concert.

Westminster Handbell Ensemble

Performs periodically at the 9:30 and 11:00am services throughout the school year. There are some 14 members of varying ages. The Westminster Ringers perform a few times each year in the Greater Chicago Area.

The Brass Ensemble

Comprised of some seven brass musicians, The Brass Ensemble performs at the 9:30 and 11:00am services three to four times per year.
