Conversations

Pastor Jim McDonald is leading mid-week conversations for faith-seekers and all wanting to explore their faith journey with honesty, mutual respect and openness to one another. All are welcome to attend, at any time during each course.

Check the Conversations page each week for details of upcoming discussions. They are held in the Adult Education center in Room 213.

Foundations

FoundationsWe are pleased to offer a Sunday School experience for adults. Foundations will meet at 9:30am in room 213.

We are hoping that it will be ‘a place to share, explore and inspire’.

Prayer Shawl Ministry

The Prayer Shawl Ministry makes shawls for those who are ill, grieving, experiencing particularly challenging times or to those who are celebrating special joys. Anyone interested in knitting or crocheting is welcome.

Instruction is available at all meetings for anyone who has never knitted before.

United Methodist Women

UMW LogoThe mission of the United Methodist Women is to know God and experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.

Young at Heart

Young at HeartThis is a group of senior adults who get together the second Wednesday of each month for a social activity, fun and fellowship. Some of their activities have included a trolley ride to the Sears homes in Downers Grove, a trip to Starved Rock, Christmas in Chicago, a movie: "Singing in the Rain"; a play in Naperville and a Sing-A-Long.
