In the event that you are looking for a "new" way to participate in church this fall, JustFaith is forming new groups at Downers Grove First United Methodist Church for the 2009-2010 year.
What does it mean for us to take up the cross today and follow Jesus? JustFaith is a call to claim the traditions of our faith (really not new at all!): compassion and community.
A thirty-week formation program using books, videos, guest speakers, discussion, prayer, retreat and immersion experiences is designed to bring you to a new state of awareness and relationship with all of God's people, with a preference to the poor. Consider growing with others in a small covenant group and discover what it means for you to love God and love one another.
